A recent Motorscience project involved a full restoration of a 1958 Porsche 356 Outlaw Coupe, originally used by its owner for rally driving. The brief called for a sympathetic restoration that preserved its character while improving durability and drivability for continued spirited use. Over a carefully managed programme, the team rebuilt the drivetrain, refreshed the chassis, and refined key mechanical systems, resulting in a classic 356 that honours its past while remaining capable on modern roads and rally stages.
